Some scary moments yesterday. Some cattle stuck on the marsh and some people nearly stuck too! Everything ended well, all people, cattle and bikes off safe by the end of the day. Brilliant teamwork and some #Safety lessons learnt

We have around 3000a of salt marsh with 1000 head of cattle helping to maintain breeding bird habitat. These guys have been in for sorting this week

A beautiful morning moving the sheep to a new paddock. With the dry weather, the grass is in short supply so it is important to rotate and rest the fields where possible so that ground can recover. #Farm24

Checking the cattle, especially the youngstock gives us chance to identify any which look like they might be struggling to put weight on or looking under the weather @Alnhamfarming #Farm24

While the lambs are in being weighed after weaning, we are applying fly spray on them to keep the flies off and prevent maggots in this hot weather @kingsfordfarm #Farm24

The sheep are being vaccinating with Heptavac-P to reduce the risk of clostridial diseases which are a group of severe diseases seen in sheep caused by Clostridia spp. bacteria @davidpcross #Farm24

Doing our own cut of hay means that we can plan ahead for winter forage supplies. We try to keep the livestock out at grass for as long as possible, but often through winter we need to house them and feed hay @RuariMart #Farm24
