This post is intended to clarify any confusion regarding the proposal to launch #CateCoin on the #Solana network.

The proposal has been initiated after multiple members of the community have requested this action. And after we have all witnessed the substantial growth of cat-themed meme coins on the Solana network.

However, due to CateCoin's small remaining non-circulating supply, we are constrained in how a Solana launch could be implemented.

Currently 48% of the total supply is in circulation, 40% has been burnt (gone forever), and 12% remains uncirculated in the treasury. Of the 12% uncirculated tokens, ~7% is allocated for future exchange listing related pools. The remaining ~5% is allocated for building, expanding, and sustaining the CateCoin ecosystem over the years ahead.

Due to these constraints, we believe that the only viable approach to launch effectively on Solana, with the necessary tokens for a new user base, and to fund both trading and bridging liquidity pools, would be to mint new tokens on Solana, up to the 40T amount that was previously burnt. This would put the project's Max supply back to 100T. However, only a portion of the new tokens would immediately go into circulation! - just enough to bootstrap the new user base and liquidity. We will ensure a limited circulating supply to maximize demand. We do not have final figures on this yet.

Please realize that CateCoin is the oldest Cat-themed memecoin - nearly 3 years old. It is our goal to manage tokens responsibly and sustainably for the benefit of the community.

The team has built many utilities within the CateCoin ecosystem, we are actively working to improve these each day. Beyond this potential Solana launch, we will be releasing an updated project website soon and a new web3 game. We are also working to improve other apps within the CateCoin ecosystem, and are actively working on exchange listings.
