Our children at Easley Housing Authority are learning the powerful Three Sisters method—dwarf corn, bush beans, bush squash—planted in grow bags to honor Indigenous wisdom while growing nutritious food for their families. We’re applying for the Food Justice for Kids Prize from Newman's Own Foundation to expand this work! When you nominate us, you’ll see two options that fit perfectly:

I'm up way too early for all of this mess going on in this world. I can't look at my phone, can't watch television, listen to the radio, the commercials are trying to kill people with food and medication. I'm exhausted and I'm on vacation! There is no escaping the madness. Heaven help us all. I hope you can enjoy the rest of this day. 😊
