When I got my mail today I received this letter from one of my students.
This made me feel really good.
I felt bad for my students not being in school the last trimester at SJRCS. I missed them everyday. As a teacher we wanted a snow day not a Pandemic.
Saint John Regional 5th & 6th grade students participated in the Frederick News Post Design An Ad contest. The students ads are in today’s Frederick News Post edition.
Saint John Regional 8th grade interpretation of Hokusai’s most famous work the Great Wave. We are still learning virtually, SJRCS students are amazing.
Saint John 7th grade students raise trout during Science and eventually release the fingerlings to Doub’s Meadow Park to their natural habitat. In Visual Arts class I have the students create their own interpretation how the trout live in the ecosystem.
Saint John’s 4th grade students created their own super hero art piece while learning about portraits. This year our schools theme is “Take The Lead.” They are my super hero’s.
Saint John’s 8th grade created their own Starry Night inspired by Vincent Van Gogh. We continue to learn virtually my students continue to embrace the Arts so proud of them!
