@JohnBea59958156 @MagnumKeith So yes he would have used a 10 gauge, and 10 gauge is only 3 1/2 so it is a very potent load. So lead goes slower than steel but retains more energy at long distance. I would be using BB's for goose. I have consistently killed ducks at 60-70 yards with 12 gauge #3 steel.
