Another common error is to take the first ramp onto an approaching highway instead of the second one. You end up in the exact opposite direction. Here too some smart voice nav can help immensely. I am sure there are plenty more.

So yes, Apple Maps was better at turn instructions but the Product Managers at both places can do SO much better. Eg:

Complex situations with 3-4 tight exits in quick succession (a New Jersey staple) = could you not warn the driver ahead of time to pay attention?

The demographic dividend is a TEMPORARY boost that countries get for say 2 decades when their population is YOUNG. Economy gets a boost then eg GDP up by 2%. Which is NOT the same as all people get a better life. Unemployment can still remain high, affluence can still be a mirage

Unpopular opinion but yes India has too many people to become affluent. This is the view flying out of Frankfurt. Meanwhile Indian cities are just BURSTING at the seams

But this isn’t about urban planning (a real concern). It’s about the sheer population and how lifting a billion people up is HARD. Economists love talking about the demographic dividend. Yes it’s real and yes it helps businesses eg my own startup. But it’s crazily misunderstood
