24 Inches
An elderly couple was watching a Discovery Channel special about a West African black tribe whose men all had penises approximately 24 inches long. When the male reaches a certain age, a string is tied around his penis and on the other end is a weight. After a while, the weight stretches the penis to 24 inches.
Later that evening, as the husband was getting out of the shower, his wife said, "how about we try the African String-and-Weight procedure?"
The husband agreed and they tied a string and a weight to his penis.
A few days later, the wife asked the husband, "how is our little tribal experiment coming along?"
"Well, it looks like we're about halfway there," he replied.
"Wow, you mean it's grown to 12 inches long?"
"No," he replied, "it's turned black."
CDC is handing the @loadedlions “universe” over to the community with a pathetic $50K in grants - paid in $CRO, of course.
This doesn’t look like decentralization.
It looks like CDC is done spending money on Loaded Lions.
After spending more than 2 years building @ManeCityGame, prize pools have become smaller season after season, and there’s still no clear communication on when the next season is even coming.
On top of that, multiple NFT collections were launched around the game collections that keep losing value while highly engaged players have spent thousands of dollars inside this universe.
And what do they get in return?
No transparency. No clear progress on the roadmap. No meaningful communication.
Just $50K in grants for the community to keep building it themselves.
That is incredibly disappointing.
I genuinely feel sorry for the players, holders and investors who gave this ecosystem so much time, money and energy.
This doesn’t sound like a new chapter.
It sounds like a final thank you.
I will keep my LL for the love of the game.
Onto the next ✌️

Fortune Favours The Brave they said
King Arthur got cursed with a strange disease...
... and only an old, ugly witch can cure him.
But the witch demanded a young, handsome knight for husband, and Galahad took it for the team and married her.
On the night of the wedding, the witch turned into a beautiful woman and offered Galahad the choice: she could be old and ugly during the day, and young and beautiful at night, or vice versa.
Galahad told her that he respected her choice over her appearance, and she could decide that.
The witch was pleased, as Galahad knew what a woman wanted the most: freedom over her body.
She told Galahad that she would be a beautiful wife for him all the time for him.
The moral of the story is that:
No matter how good your wife looks, she is still a witch underneath.
