Billy Donovan is the top target at UNC. If it doesn't work out the fallbacks are Scott Drew and Ben McCollum. One of the three will coach in Chapel Hill next season.
It sounds like Mike Hopkins overplayed his hand and John Becker opted against leaving Vermont. Unclear if Siena is going with Nevada Smith, another candidate they previously talked to, or starting the search over. They want to win and have resources to do it.
Apparently, Georgia State has cast a very wide net. At least five in person interviews (Mark Prosser, Sharman White, Earl Grant, Mike Jones, and Jon Cremins) and there may be others. Some of these dudes interviewed nearly a week ago.
Very reliable sources say the ink is not dry at Siena. There is a growing belief Gerry M doesn't want to hire Mike H on his staff at Syracuse and his out is to get him to Albany. Does Gerry have all the juice or do others get to pick the best coach, Hop or otherwise?
John Becker is involved in multiple searches but only at Siena does it seem he is at the top of the list. Will he take Siena? Unclear. The Saints talked to more than a half dozen candidates including a couple veteran former HC types, plus Nevada Smith, and Mike Morrel.
Jeremiah Samarrippas and John Shulman are finalists at Tennessee Tech. At least one other candidate is involved. It may be Mike Morrell, there were initial discussions with him. Sounds like it is moving fast

Fresno State search is wild. Tons of candidates getting their chance to pitch the very large committee. Hearing that there is a local prep coach with juice in addition to Dan Monson, and Tarvish Felton getting in person interviews. That trio may be less than half the whole group.
