The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began.
The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start.
Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have.
If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.
The airline lost my bag for 72 hours.
They handed me a $50 “courtesy” voucher at the baggage desk and smiled like they’d done me a favor.
I kept the voucher. Then I opened my laptop and used a 1999 international treaty they never mention at check-in.
Total recovered: $1,650.

Assign someone you trust. Apple generates an access key tied to them. The moment they show that key alongside a death certificate, your entire iCloud opens up. Photos, files, emails, notes. Everything.
Skip this and your family spends months fighting Apple's bureaucracy with no guarantee it works.

So he records one last lecture — everything he knows, distilled into a single hour.

Godfather of AI: "If you sleep well tonight, you may not have understood this lecture."
This 47-minute lecture is the best thing I saw about AI in the last few months.
It will definitely help you understand how it actually works and where it's going.
Geoffrey Hinton built the neural networks behind every AI alive, then quit Google to warn the world about it.
The part nobody wanted to hear:
> AI is already developing abilities its creators didn't intend
> in most cognitive tasks it's already ahead of us
> the question is no longer if it surpasses us but when
> the only decision left is which side of that line you're on
Right now the average person opens Claude, types something, gets an answer, closes the tab.
They think they're using AI. they're using maybe 10% of it.
I went through his entire lecture, built a practical system from what he was describing.
18 steps to actually use Claude the right way, with copy-paste prompts that work today.
Full guide in the post below.
Claude is f*cking ridiculous for stock research

3. Prompting (Tips 21–30)
☑ Stop writing long prompts. Files > prompts.
☑ One task per prompt. One. Not five.
☑ Say "Does NOT sound like" to kill the AI voice.
☑ Give the task, not the method. Let it figure it out.
4. AskUserQuestion Tool (Tips 31–40)
☑ "Start with AskUserQuestion" in all 1st prompts.
☑ Claude builds you a clickable form. Click answers.

A lot of people seem to think photonics has already had its big run.
They’re missing the next leg.
Stocks like $AAOI and $LITE exploded on the current 800G pluggable wave — a lot of that growth is now priced in.
The real next chapter is CPO - (Co-Packaged Optics).
CPO solves the massive power and heat problems in AI data centers way better than today’s pluggables. Hyperscalers are already designing their future clusters around it. The big ramp will be 2027–2028.
The companies that actually enable CPO — $SIVE (critical lasers), $SOI (substrates), $TSEM (foundry), $AEHR (testing) — are still trading at valuations that don’t reflect how big this shift can become.
CPO is the layer where the next major move in photonics will come from IMO.
