@stwater why has no one been to fix a drainage issue in Carlton in Lindrick that we were told would be sorted on Monday this week? My husband died two weeks ago and my mother in law and I are struggling enough without not being able to wash my 2yo’s clothes or give her a bath.

Had to pause Taskmaster as neither of us could get a grip on ourselves after @gdavies’s anecdote about Morgan the coat hood eater. I genuinely can’t remember the last time I laughed that hard. I couldn’t breathe!
Imagine single-handedly fending off a Nazi invasion using witchcraft and that not even being your most iconic or best remembered role. Angela Lansbury had the range.
I’ve kept my mouth shut until now about the Queen and everything surrounding it, but I’ve just seen that stewards are giving out blankets to people in The Queue and I’m appalled. Where is this care and concern for the thousands of homeless people sleeping on those same streets?
Someone just told me as I minding my own business waiting for a coffee, that I’m making a rod for my own back by holding the baby’s hand when she’s going off to sleep.!? Some people will just wear their trauma like a badge. It’s the privilege of my life to hold her hand
Dolly Parton wrote “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You” on the same day and I’ve been “getting ready to put away laundry” for the past five or six days.
