I spoke with @Rupsha14 about ALK positive lung cancer, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, the need for more research to find a cure or at least extend people’s lives as much as possible (especially relevant since most ALK positive patients like me are very young) as well as managing the mental, emotional, social challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis and truly overwhelm the patient + those around them. The latter cannot and must not be underestimated or undermined.

Cancer is not a physical disease alone. It is as much of a mental, emotional, social and financial challenge.
