Rural Middle England campaigning to suspend the grey-belt test for land around villages, uphold Neighbourhood Plans and devolved power for parish councils.
There is a huge network of chalk streams at risk in Effingham. I don’t pretend to understand all the details but I do know there are a lot of concerned people . The site is Effingham Lodge Farm and the London aquifer is below. The village is along a spring line and chalk and clay geology is a feature of the site. I would be interested to hear what your assessment is 26 P 01289 Guildford planning portal
@SusieTa32510601@Mrssmithmunday The difference with this one is the rural proofing to build the evidence that forces the change. If negative impacts are found govt must act -
Thank you - You’ve expressed the challenge so well - there are so many of us fighting fires when we need to be tacking the source of the fire - together - united against the policies that have unleashed destructive chaos in the countryside . Anyone can join- it’s free and we hope by coming together we will create an irresistible force for change and if you do nothing else please sign the petition https://t.co/JMbT2Rver8
@BonkersBusway@BenGoldsmith Rural proofing of policies should be requested - it is a legal responsibility of govt. Help me help you by signing the petition to get that done. No point just demanding they abandon policies - we need to prove the effect on rural areas is disproportional https://t.co/QDt5FeB5iA.
@FraserNelson The Princess of Wales is right - we need green fields and nature for all - help us keep our countryside green not grey https://t.co/QDt5FeBD88
