With a deep sense of sorrow, we announce the passing of Damian Mendez. He was a tremendous wrestler, but we were more excited to welcome such a bright young man to our campus and into our family this fall. We ask for prayers for Damian and his family during this difficult time.

Heart goes out to the Dodge City community and the family of Damian Mendez, who passed away late last night following a heat stroke. He just completed an exceptional high school wrestling career at Dodge City and was poised for tremendous things in the future. A terrible loss.
