Meet Carlton Real, who has been presented with the prestigious Billy Deacon Search And Rescue Memorial Trophy for the rescue of a casualty during extremely treacherous conditions.

He refused to give up and was able to save the young casualty's life.

With deteriorating weather conditions and powerful gusts threatening to push the aircraft into the cliff, the Coastguard helicopter crew were able to rescue two climbers from Tryfan, a 3,000ft peak towering over Snowdonia.
