Jabby Dodger - I have learned to distrust government and disbelieve all those in positions of authority. They are acting only in their own interests. FSU Member
I hadn’t heard of the case until the retrial verdict and then I listened to this podcast series with Peter Elston and Dr Michael McConville.
I found it disturbing and quite harrowing to hear how Lucy has been abused by NHS Consultants and the legal system for nearly 10 years now.
“Statistical evidence helped convict Letby… and the main statistical constructs, a number of statisticians have said, was just a statistical abomination.”
Statistician Peter Elston calls the statistical evidence given during Letby’s trial “a scientific fake.”

@therealmissjo It wouldn’t surprise me if the traffickers or some migrant support groups didn’t actually advise them to rape someone when they got here, as that would help them defeat deportation by claiming they’re life would be in danger if they are sent back home.
Every leftist insisted that I left out the context and that he must have instigated it and thrown bricks at them
Here's what actually happened: He was sitting on a wall for 30m, and when the cops decided to push into the crowd, he didn't move
@AlexCutter86@LCasley31782@gilham_stuart However, nothing Myers said during the trial or in his closing arguments are treated as evidence. He needed an expert medical witness to make these statements or at least agree with them. But the Defence had none. So it was all ignored by Judge Goss in his directions to the jury.
@WeAreFairCop Henry was stabbed in the chest with a 9” knife and the murderer’s family waited an hour before calling 999 to report that one of them had been assaulted. The brother specifically said no weapon was used.
Police thought they were going to a minor altercation involving a drunk man.
It's hard to think how else we should describe police officers carefully covering up Pakistani rape gangs in case the public kicked off.
As part of this effort, they actually arrested the fathers of victims who tracked down the houses they were being abused in.
@Bishop_Beesley The handcuffing was unnecessary and an obvious mistake. But he would still have been laid down.
It was the stab wound to his chest with a 9” knife and then waiting an hour before dialling 999 which killed him. Having taken his phone so he couldn’t contact anyone for help himself.
@1MikeFairclough There is a second or third generation of young people who have been radicalised (maybe through university) and encouraged to assert their heritage and culture. They have realised that doing so gives them power in society over White people and gets them advancement and privileges.
@kevinnbass Being stabbed in the chest is what killed him.
But being laid on his side probably allowed accumulated blood from massive internal bleeding to flood into his ‘good lung’.
And even if he hadn’t been handcuffed, he would likely have been laid flat on his back to check for injuries.
@CynicalBrit2023 The Digwas apparently delayed calling 999 for an hour.
I suspect Henry was bleeding profusely, but mostly internally and his right lung was filled with blood. Then when Police lay him on his left side a lot of the blood probably ran into his left lung and immediately drowned him.
