@Jon61267227@DigitalKayak@WHLeavitt Not being obtuse. I was pointing out that it's not so easy to "return to one's original home." And I am pointing out that for somebody like me, my original home is in Ohio. I know nothing other than that as an original home. That's how the world has worked for all of time.
@_roshaanzafar@WHLeavitt What crime? Obviously she didn't commit infidelity by sleeping with her true love, behind the back of the creepy old man she was married off to when she was just 9 years old, because if that were the case, they would be stoning her to death. So what crime did she commit?
@SulicNerim81850@WHLeavitt But to live in America, you must abide by our laws. You must assimilate into our culture. Where your religious laws and culture clash with ours, they must discontinued.
@Jon61267227@DigitalKayak@WHLeavitt Definition of a native is one who was born and or raised in that land. As such, I am a Native of America. But if you want me to return to my ancestors' homeland, you are going to have to give back Turkey and Constantinople.
@PaigeSpiranac Ignore the haters. Most of them never played golf, and the rest have something like 250 rounds under their belt without a single hole-in-one, so they are just jealous.
@Perifinesse@TomHoman_@Harwood_JH This was my thought as I watched. If I were the parent, and those are school employees, I would sue them into oblivion. Grown men can't handle one ignorant teen? BS. Sue them, and maybe even criminally prosecute them for negligence. If I were that kid's father...
@GSGB01 They should stay home. Avoid the temptation. Or, better yet, go back to their home countries, where they won't have to be bothered by such things. It is up to the migrant to assimilate into the culture they move into, not force that culture to change to theirs. Go home.
@Bohwe1@dcurtis@elonmusk Oh please. Stop with the hyperbole. We want them to reign in the corruption, fraud, waste, and abuse. That's all. We don't want them to be Kings. Our government has become rotten to the core. A good cleaning up is in order. Stop defending corruption.
@Bohwe1@dcurtis@elonmusk This isn't about Elon. Enough with the EDS. This is about our nation. The Founders didn't intend for the District Courts to be able to dictate to the President. Only the USSC should be able to stop an Executive Order. Even that has to be limited when it's national security.
@DrNoahFT @elonmusk The Founders intended Co-Equal branches of government. District courts are not equal to the Presidency. The USSC and Congress are. The USSC is able to take cases up directly, if they feel it's a worthy case. 600+ District Court judges shouldn't be able to stop Executive Orders
@Bohwe1@dcurtis@elonmusk Also, how is deporting illegal aliens and different than trespassing somebody from YOUR property? Where is that person's due process? They have none. It's not a criminal prosecution. If they re-enter the property, now it's a criminal prosecution and they get due process.
@Bohwe1@dcurtis@elonmusk The District Courts are not co-equal to the Presidency, or Congress. The USSC, Congress, and the Presidency are the co-equal branches of government.
@dcurtis@elonmusk Co-equal branches of government. District Courts are not equal to the Presidency. The USSC and Congress are. If it's important, they can take a case up directly. It's going to end up there anyway, so just take it to the USSC. If they decline, it's over.
@philerator@elonmusk Also, where's the due process for somebody being trespassed from YOUR property? That's right, he only gets it if he returns and is now being criminally prosecuted. Deporting an illegal alien is no different than trespassing a trespasser.
@philerator@elonmusk Show me in the Constitution where District Court Judges were given authority to stop Executive Branch actions. Oh, that's right. It's not there.
Co-equal branches of government. President, Congress, and USSC. The USSC can take up a case if they choose.
@elonmusk Why is deporting illegal aliens, not seen the same as trespassing somebody from your property? Where is the due process for the person being trespassed from your property? Oh, that's right. They can have due process when they return, and are now being criminally prosecuted.
@paxtonsmom361@ChrisMurphyCT If you know what is happening in this video, giving us the context would have been a good idea. Otherwise, it's just your comment, with something happening in a video. No, it doesn't look good, but I have no clue what's happening, or why.
