The French version of Tommy Robinson claimed that French student protesters in Marseille had deliberately burned down every Jewish-owned store on a single street while leaving Muslim-owned stores untouched.

However, the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions (CRIF) in Marseille and the national Jewish security watchdog, SPCJ, confirmed that there was no evidence that Jewish-owned businesses had been deliberately singled out or targeted because they were Jewish.

According to the British intelligence services, the main threats faced by British citizens and especially by Muslims on our streets are not from the Islamophobic mobs or racist pogroms. Nor are they, of course, from police harassment and intimidation.
No, the main threats are from Russia and Iran.

They are apparently engaged in a bewildering variety of plots and ‘potentially lethal’ activities, where the main victims are Jews. Oddly, we have not had a single verified incident in which either Iran or Russia has been shown to have been involved in anything at all, in the last five years. We do know, however, that Muslims are actually under attack.

And less well-known, we also know that the British state has reorganised its propaganda apparatus and added Iran as a major focus of attention to Russia, which it has been targeting since 2014. The creation of a new Hybrid Threats Directorate in the Foreign Office which acts as a ‘fusion’ clearing house for all propaganda on Russia and Iran (and also, incidentally, Gaza and China) is at the root of almost all hysterical claims that the Russians and Iran are actively carrying out ‘hybrid’ attacks in the UK.

Hall. In January this year, he admitted to the Foreign
Affairs Committee that there has been a significant expansion in their propaganda work: “While we have stepped up the scale and tempo of our activity against the acute threat from Russia over the last 12 to 18 months, we are absolutely expanding both our own work, our partnerships and our engagement with our allies globally beyond Europe on what this threat picture looks like and what that means for future action.”

Metropolitan Police, Mark Rowley, was to lean into the messaging coming out of the Hybrid Threats Directorate. Speaking immediately following the incident, he claimed on 23 March 2026 that while it was ‘too early’ to officially attribute the arson to Tehran, the “rapid growth in recent years of Iranian state threats is grave”.

On 1 May, according to an interview in The Times,
Rowley claimed that Jewish people were at the centre
of a ‘ghastly Venn diagram of hate’ as they were targeted by extremists and terrorists on the left and right, as well as state-backed actors.

Reform UK's private police in Colchester have been given an official reprimand after they illegally handcuffed two teenage girls.

Operation Vanguard is a private security patrol employed at the cost of £150,000 to the taxpayer, to wander the streets of Braintree, Chelmsford and Colchester.

If we look a little further though, unsurprisingly, Reform UK have some serious questions to answer.

The BBC reported yesterday that two of the private police patrol, run by a firm called My Local Bobby, were officially rebuked by the police for illegally detaining these girls.

Essex Police said two offences of assault without injury were recorded and “learning requirements” had been “passed to the security staff employers”.

The £150,000 contract for Operation Vanguard was awarded without tender to My Local Bobby by Peter Harris, Reform leader of the council.

The goons handcuffed two teenagers they believed to be shoplifting, but these security staff have zero powers of detention under the law.

As you can see from Essex County Council's own website FAQs below, they have no powers at all.

It feels to me that the citizens of Essex should be aware of this fact and be prepared to stand up to these glorified store detectives.

FAQs state that they cannot arrest people, they have no powers of stop and search, no power to ask questions and absolutely zero enforcement powers.

They are literally performing 'citizens arrests' and being paid £150,000 by the council for it.

If those in Essex know this then it could easily open the council up to substantial lawsuits if their vigilantes carry on 'arresting' people illegally.

Reform UK are wasting public money again and setting themselves up to be sued. Again.
