@zoeharcombe Did this with my bank. Have more than one bank, zero your account and wait for the account fee (a whole £10) to take you overdrawn, they will phone the next day.
Try to phone them, spend 45mins on hold be passed from one person to the next all with sloping shoulders, no solution.
@MichaelJosem Chick'n is made to look like chicken but is not. I bought what I thought was feta from the cheese section and it was actually soy, Feta was on the package in big bold letters, the brand was a vegan brand but not knowing that I didn't realise. It's misleading.
@LawrieHooper Hospitality/construction will increase their prices or substitute local produce/prefab for cheaper imports to maintain profitable businesses. Low paid will find hospitality/housing still out of reach or they'll be out of work because local produce/products not required.....
@iom_fandliom Is it potentially 8,500 FTE workers and 5,000 workers on very few hours doing bank work...... I'm not familiar with how each question was phrased, small change on wording could give very different answers.
@PrearrangeS@Taraghm@AlexKane221b Biggest internment camp was Knockaloe on the west coast. Jurby is in the north and was an RAF base. There are a few stories of Germans who came back and settled here cause they liked it.
@MickMills@SteveMcAP@isleofmantoday This applies to all groups, it's not aimed at just schools. Large groups of children repeatedly causing issues, adults unable to maintain acceptable standards of behaviour= consequences. Schools may have been fine but they need one rule and minority have spoilt it for all.
@LawrieHooper Need to forget increasing the minimum wage and reduce the cost of living. Biggest cost is housing that's just outstripped wage increases. In '97 I bought a 2 bed Semi and adjusted for inflation should be £110k today. It's about 2.5 times that.
@LawrieHooper Yep they'll increase their prices, then be accused of ripping off the Manx public and the public will rather import products from UK where it's labour costs are less, their inputs are also less as no Irish sea to move goods over...... Manx business will close.
