What an amazing few days! Last week I had a play Iโd written performed by the fantastic Nods Theatre Company. Thank you to everyone who made a dream come true! Now to look at publishing opportunities ๐
I'm thrilled to have had my upgrade accepted by the CIEP and I'm very proud to be a Professional Member. I have loved being part of the CIEP from the beginning and I can't wait to continue my editing journey.๐ฅ
Back home after a fantastic conference #CIEP2023 Great to meet some more historical fiction editors. I loved the session on anachronisms. Missing the buzz and excitement of the weekend. Time to get productive!
Itโs my first week after giving up my final few teaching hours. Ready to start an adult historical fiction edit and focus on my full-time freelance business. ๐
@FreelancerMagz Hi, Iโm Sharon, a freelance editor and proofreader specialising in childrenโs fiction, YA and adult historical fiction, with some fantasy thrown in.
@NickTEdits I decided to take your advice and get more involved with Twitter! Itโs nothing to do with the fact that Iโm worn out and canโt get down to work. ๐คฃ
@AndyJHodges Enjoy the extra night! Lovely meeting you at the conference. My one hour drive home turned into over three hours - wish Iโd stayed for an extra night!
I really enjoyed the CIEP conference. Some great tips and talks from very knowledgeable and entertaining speakers. Lots to take in now to continue my professional development in editing. #CIEP2021
I'm finally fully on Twitter having joined about eight years ago and done virtually nothing on it since! After catching up with lots of amazing writers and agents, it's time for a hot cup of coffee, cosy slippers and a good write.
@AuthorSJB Ooh small world - I perform at the Royal Oak every year with my local drama group. Hopefully, we'll get to be back there again soon. Thanks for retweeting - I'm completely new to this. :-)
