@cityofmississagua Please help us to tell people to not litter dog poo on the ground in our community. We are worried about the water and the animals who use the water to survive. We don't want garbage going into the oceans. We are asking you to help pick up the garbage
@citymississauga we would like more garbage cans in our community. We want 'do not litter' signs and no dog poo signs in our community. We have had enough of seeing so much garbage on our walks. It makes us unhappy when we are walking.
@citymississauga we are kindergarten students at Elm Drive Public School. We are messaging you because there is too much litter and garbage on the ground. There is so much construction litter stuck on the trees and on the ground beside the trees.

K1 Wolves took the lead with their learning this week 🌟 They chose to continue learning about the 7 Teachings by writing & drawing on large paper, use shapes to create living beings from eggs, revisit farming & explore the forest by the mountain
When provided North American animals and a challenge to create a home for these animals, R created an amazing habitat! Trees for food, shelter, higher caves for bear, smaller homes for beaver, grass, an area for drinking, food for eating. Cannot wait to see our learning tomorrow
We are starting to explore the Teachings of the Seven Grandfathers by first identifying the animals. Which animals do we know, which would we like to learn about first, how can we then implement the teaching? Today we are exploring through shapes, number matching and typing.
After one Wolf led our group meeting & taught us to count from 1-10 in Spanish, this Wolf decided to share their knowledge of counting from 1-10 in French We cannot wait to learn from our other Wolves as we continue to grow together
We can identify words that have dual meanings based on our experiences & interests K1s Write the Room introduces homonyms that reflect our Wolves ‘I know this is cricket 🏏 but this looks like a grasshopper to me. I don’t know that kind of cricket 🦗’ -V
This Wolf led our whole group & taught us what they know about items that are heavy and light While at the farm, A used the scale to explore the weight of food items ‘🍇 are heavier than 🥬 but then I added 🍎 & 🎃 and pumpkin was more heavy’
We also discovered something underneath a log. We are learning about eggs in our inquiry so we used our learning to make connections "this looks like eggs" "someone's babies are in there" "these look as small as a butterfly egg."can anyone help us out with identifying these eggs?
Today at the forest we many discoveries. We discovered we can face our fears and do things we haven't before, such as climbing up the hill and making our way back down.
We are still diving into finding the evidence we need to solve our farm questions. We are also using our observation and questioning tools to solve these puzzles. "I know I have all the pieces but this doesn't look right" "that's a cow and this is a goat, the background is diff"
