On the 20th of June, Sharly Misati and Emmaculate Mitchelle, girl leaders from our partner organizations, @nowei_kenya and @yc_kenya, participated in the Gender in Education Movement, #GIEM Girls Summit by @GCN_Kenya. The event brought together young women and girls to share powerful stories and co-create solutions to break barriers in #girlseducation and reimagine what’s possible for girls in Kenya.

Yesterday marked the end of the 3-day wellness retreat for our Rwanda🇷🇼 partners. From fun activities🌟, thought-provoking exercises🎨, and deep conversations on mental health and well-being, for the past three days, leaders from our partner community-driven organizations in Rwanda have had the opportunity to equip themselves with tools⚙️ to integrate well-being into their work and life.

@Rworkshops & @RwandaYouth wrapped up a 5-day field visit, engaging 67 alumni groups trained under the #GiraUbushoboziProgram. The visit aimed to assess their projects and explore ways to further promote job creation and economic empowerment.

After years of wonderful work and dedication, our Network Director, @AnikaJdKe, had her last day at AMPLIFY Girls this week.

"It is with gratitude and honor that I move on from AMPLIFY Girls," shared Anika. "Joining the organization at the height of COVID, I worked hard to master the art of building, expanding, and sustaining a thriving network of partners. I move on with the knowledge that I helped AG to flourish. I carry with me a deeper understanding of agency and the hope that women all over the world will stand in their truths. I hold great reverence for the girls I mentored in the AG fellowship, and to them I say - you will all be great. And to our network partners - may the spirit of intentional collaboration guide you to stay and invest in what we've built!"
