Today, a man has been convicted of the murder of student Henry Nowak in Southampton. Throughout the trial, we have not discussed this case publicly to ensure that justice could be done but now we can share a message from DCC Robert France.

Sorry isn’t good enough.
We need to see the body-worn footage and these officers need to face consequences.
The treatment of this murdered student, in his dying moments, is a national scandal.
🚨Dear Reformers,
After months of hard campaigning, I hope you can understand that I was utterly shattered and needed some well earned rest and recuperation, which is why this is my first post since stepping down as Chairman.
I leave the role incredibly proud of the unprecedented progress we made during the eleven months I served as party Chairman.
During my tenure, our results were nothing short of phenomenal. We became the largest political party. On average, we welcomed a remarkable 6,000 new members every single month and to top it all off, we made another major breakthrough at the local elections. We gained nearly 1,500 councillors and we took control of 17 new councils. Something the establishment said was impossible.
And I want to be really clear. None of this would have been possible without you, the members and supporters. Your commitment, dedication and passion shines through whenever I meet you.
As I travelled across the country on my Chairman’s Tour and met thousands of you, I was genuinely overwhelmed by the warmth and support I received at every event. Please know that feeling is entirely mutual.
I know Lee Anderson will continue the fight brilliantly, and as someone who has been in Reform for a long time, he knows exactly what it means to be a Reformer.
I now turn my attention to my home county of Suffolk as I look to return to elected politics.
I remain fully convinced that @reformparty_uk is Britain’s last chance. 🇬🇧
Today we remember Drummer Lee Rigby.
A British soldier brutally murdered while serving his country.
Whatever your politics, we should never forget the sacrifice made by the men and women of our Armed Forces, or the price some pay in service to this nation.
Rest in peace, Lee Rigby. 🇬🇧
Reform UK Southampton councillor Philip Crook speaking plainly about what many residents already know:
People are fed up with the political uniparty, the excuses, and the steady decline of our city and country.
Worth a watch. 🇬🇧

Proud to have completed my induction today. There is still much to learn, but I am looking forward to getting stuck in and starting to support residents from today. @reformparty_uk
Our first official day as Southampton City Councillors. It was induction day as senior staff introduced 6 of us to their departments, issued our laptops, email and lots of reading. A very professionally organised day indeed @reformparty_uk@RSouthampt53553
To the people of Woolston and Weston, thank you.
Thank you for putting your trust in me and giving me the opportunity to serve as your new councillor. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for the support, encouragement and conversations I have had throughout this campaign. It has been an incredible experience meeting so many people, hearing your concerns and listening to your hopes for our community.
I also want to thank the other candidates who stood in this election. Democracy works best when people are willing to step forward and stand up for what they believe in. Every candidate should be proud of the effort they put in, and I wish them all the very best for the future.
A huge thank you as well to the staff at the polling stations and at the count who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the election possible.
There will now be a short period whilst my induction takes place, but I am excited to get started and begin working for the people of Woolston and Weston.
On May 7th, the people sent a clear message that they want change. They are tired of feeling ignored and let down by the traditional system. Now the real work begins.
The antisemitic attack in Golders Green has been declared a terrorist incident.
It was brutal and savage.
I hope the victims come through and my heart goes out to them and their families.
Antisemitism in Britain has risen to terrifying levels under governments that turned a blind eye.
It. Must. Stop. Now.
Introducing Ryan Collett, Reform UK candidate for Southampton Woolston Ward.
“Residents are being asked to pay more while poor decisions continue to be made. The Portswood Bus Gate is a clear example, an expensive scheme that lacked support, reduced footfall, and increased congestion. I have been dedicated to supporting vulnerable people in our community and now work in business development, focusing on reducing costs and improving efficiency. I have a strong understanding of how social services operate across the city, particularly in children’s and adult services, and I want to see better outcomes and better use of public funds. I will bring this experience to work for our city and for local residents.”
