The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announces that air defense systems are currently intercepting hostile aerial targets, including drones and ballistic missiles, launched by Iran.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has now lasted longer than World War I
Today marks the 1568th day of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, officially surpassing the length of the First World War, which lasted 1567 days.
Recent analysis by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) shows that Russia’s current most intense offensive is slower than the infamous Battle of the Somme in 1916, where Allied forces advanced at an average of 80 meters per day.
Russian advances can barely suppress the 14 meters per day in some front-line areas while losing thousands of soldiers.
❗️Ukraine’s Fire Point planned to start mass production of its FP-7.x air defense missile in August after a first flight test. The system was developed as a cheaper Patriot alternative, with output planned at up to three missiles per day. #Ukraine
US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Iran had taken too long to negotiate a deal and would now “have to pay the price."
"They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them, now they will have to pay the price," he said in a post on Truth Social.
Trump added that Iran's military had been defeated, particularly its navy and air force.
"Iran’s Military is a complete and total mess. Much of it, like their Navy and Air Force, doesn’t even exist anymore. They have been completely defeated. Iran is all talk and no action. The Bully of the Middle East is DEAD," he wrote.

Several interceptions and at least two impacts seen at or near the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet Headquarters in Bahrain earlier, amid a ballistic missile attack by Iran.

“https://t.co/Mplbo80tey will now provide clear, transparent, and DISCOUNTED offerings for FOUR OUT OF FIVE of every prescription filled by Americans,” the president added.
Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner admitted to buying cocaine and boasted about doing drugs “on the government dime” while “backpacking through Europe” on paid leave from the military, @ChuckRossDC reports.
BREAKING: Iran’s President Pezeshkian has submitted an official letter of resignation to the Office of the Supreme Leader, per Iran International.
In the letter, Pezeshkian stressed that the president and the government have effectively been excluded from major decision-making processes in the country and the IRGC has taken control of affairs.
Pezeshkian added that under such circumstances he is unable to run the government and carry out his legal responsibilities, and for that reason has requested to step down immediately.
It is not yet clear whether Supreme Leader Khamenei will accept the president's resignation.

Ah yes, one of those times when the scandal doesn't come out until after the primary. At least it happened to a Democrat this time, unlike the North Carolina gov. race .
NYT Claims: The U.S.–Iran draft deal includes a $300 billion investment fund for Iran. Tehran wanted reparations for war damage. Washington rebranded it as an international investment vehicle. Witkoff and Kushner floated the idea, pitching Tehran real estate and a broader fund as deal sweeteners.
Iran insists on controlling the Hormuz, as well as not allowing its enriched uranium to leave the country.
I don’t see any scenario today where they cave to these demands.
I’m not even getting into, it’s proxy network support, ballistic missile program and the human right abuses.
A nuclear deal is not close.
The administration should stop using phrases like “there has been regime change in Iran” or “the regime has changed in Iran.” It is neither funny nor smart. It is simply gaslighting tens of millions of Iranians who, on a daily basis, continue to be oppressed, abused, tortured, or murdered by the same Islamist regime still in power.
New from CENTCOM:
"Iran launched a ballistic missile toward Kuwait that was successfully intercepted by Kuwaiti forces. This egregious ceasefire violation by the Iranian regime occurred hours after Iranian forces launched five one-way attack drones that posed a clear threat in and near the Strait of Hormuz. All drones were successfully intercepted by U.S. forces which also prevented a sixth drone launch from an Iranian ground control site in Bandar Abbas."
