Aren’t we teaching that no such societies existed 12000 years ago because we were hunter-gatherers? One could argue that Gobekli Tepe proves this is not the case and there was at least one "advanced" civilization at that time. One that was not hunter-gatherer but more likely had farming, science, math, and living in a large population. Which is the opposite of how hunter-gatherers are depicted and defined.

Lol. The political spectrum is a line, correct? The farther right you go, the less government is involved. All the way to anarchy. Now when you go far left, that's where all the authoritarians are. A single-party government controls everything. (Communism, Fascism, Socialism) So, like @BrightInsight6 mentioned, we are taught that this ideology is from the right. It's not. It's from the left. Hence, same ideology (oppressed vs. oppressor, single-party rule, complete governmental control) Same shit, different labels.
