@theWycombeWay Thank you George, @the1887wwfc@JGsLongThrow and all involved for putting on a great event for several worthy causes.
A fantastic experience I won’t forget.
Having the amazing community surrounding the football club reminds us all of how great we can be when we come together.
@theWycombeWay Hi, can I confirm if I have a slot in the 7;45 game? I had messaged the 1887 page but am unsure if my message had been seen. I can do the earlier match if not.
So proud of the team. Everyone did their jobs brilliantly today and gave a big scare to another premier league side.
The Wycombe we know and love is back in force and it’s credit to Mike Duff and the group.
This season can still be special despite our slow start. #Chairboys
@wwfcofficial If everyone can just calm down that would be great. I sit in the family stand and the negativity thrown towards the players is diabolical. Grimmer was visibly annoyed with it also. It affects the players confidence and is making them on edge.
Support the team or go away.
I can’t stand the pathetic entitlement from certain “fans” to boo after matches. We have quite a few fickle fans who can never be satisfied.
Yes it can be frustrating, but what good does booing do. These players need all the support they can get now. These idiots need to wake up.
Another great show by @ThisIs_Progress I’d been looking forward to this having not been to a show in 7 months.
To the wrestlers, ring crew and everyone that makes these shows possible, I say thank you so much. I always leave with a smile on my face and that’s what it’s all about.
Great performance. The second half was a brilliant watch.
Humphreys is a tidy player, took his goal really well.
Hartridge deserves praise, he was a warrior today.
Ravazolli’s a top goalkeeper, he’s not here to just sit on the bench.
We’re off the mark and growing in confidence.
A very entertaining game, but just made a few silly mistakes. Plenty of good stuff in attack and got two well worked goals to show for it.
My main takeaway’s:
• Vokes rolled back the years with that bullet header.
• Scowen and Grimmer need to keep fit
• Kone needs to run more
Thank you for your efforts Chris. You’ve earned this move. I hope it works out for you.
A proper defender who isn’t afraid to put his head where it hurts.
You’ve got a big future in the game. Take the lessons Wycombe taught you and keep working hard.
Go well Chris.
As always cash is king.
The FA Cup is so important for lower league sides. But they don’t bring money in.
The big 6 pay their players millions every season but want to complain about busy schedules that end up being similar to the EFL schedule.
The FA Cup is losing its magic.
The FA and The @premierleague have reached an agreement to strengthen the #EmiratesFACup format and increase support for grassroots football.

You were an absolute warrior yesterday Chris. The performance didn’t deserve the bad luck at the end. But that’s football and we will continue to be proud of our little old football club.
So proud of my team. Football can be cruel at times. A freak goal that we didn’t deserve to lose to.
I did see my first Wycombe goal I at Wembley though, I will cherish that for years to come.
Also, @Chrisforino2 is an absolute warrior. Didn’t deserve to be on the losing team.
A typical Wycombe performance that. Not a pretty watch, in fact extremely stressful.
However, as we have learned the hard way this season you need to be clinical and we took our chance.
There’s never a dull moment with Wycombe. We ride the highs and lows together.

Now that’s more like the Wycombe we know and love. Every player battling hard to get the ball back. All subs made an immediate impact.
It’s important to not get too ahead of ourselves, but the changes are definitely working.
Another fantastic @ThisIs_Progress show today.
My favourite moments have to be Sunshine Machine (@ChuckMambo & @PureTKC ) getting a statement win against the returning GYV. Also @LEONSLATER_ proved that he belongs in the ring with the very best.
What a way to start the year.
Shame to see him go, but he wasn’t quite up to the league one standard.
One of the most hardworking players I’ve seen wear the blue quarters. A good example to our other development players.
Best of luck Tjay and thank you for your efforts.
🤝 Tjay, it’s been a pleasure.
@de_tjay has returned to Gibraltar and will rejoin @LincolnRedImps subject to paperwork being finalised, ending his time at Adams Park.
Thank you and good luck!
