@NotA_Bull Remind myself of just the basics, understand what you own. Most money is lost when people sell on a downturn due to not understanding the underlying company they own. Assuming itโs a good asset, you should be accumulating more not panicking about the downturn.
Best decision is to start investing, but equally you need to focus on building a high income. If you can invest 1-2K per month your portfolio will rocket.
I also feel like itโs better to view our portfolios as % over actual numbers, because once the numbers start feeling big they become scary and we start changing our decisions based on emotions, a slippery path
Iโve been enjoying the $AMD journey the past year, when does $TSLA rip through new ATHโs and make a move?
Seeing lots of images of cyber cabs across the US, it feels like this next 6-24 months could be big
Itโs a few months back now, and hard to capture in a few pictures.
My time in Australia 2026:
- Decided to learn to solo skydive (still alive- woo) totalling 23 jumps to date.
- Spent time with family and friends partying on the Gold Coast
- Explored the west coast of Australia with a 4WD
- Camped by the ocean and slept / woke based on the suns movements
- Swam with sharks
- Drank wine under the stars next to a campfire with strangers
- Visited Margaret riverโฆ ๐ท
- Made unforgettable memories with my girlfriend
A reminder to the people who have been addicted / focused on personal finance and the markets for a number of years (like myself). Remember this money can be used in the real world and we only get 1 life to enjoy it! ๐
Either youโre right, or in 5-10 years there will be huge growth from his companies. The groundwork over the past decade or more is massive in terms of the fleet or vehicles and the technological progress in batteries / manufacturing/ AI etc.
They will be producing so many more cybercabs than any other vehicle ever produced, then times that by how much theyโre able to charge for a self driving subscription. (Or own the fleet themselves) the numbers are crazy even just on that one opportunity
Are you following the progress on the cyber cab? Agreed these have been later than Elon says, but to be fair theyโre trying to achieve something thatโs never been done before. I just think as a rule of thumb donโt bet against the richest man in the world, thereโs probably a reason why he has that status
I guess thatโs where the space X investors disagree with you. How can you say this company should be valued like other random tech companies? Itโs completely TAM and market opportunities and products.
You should consider the improvements in the new satellites they will be launching soon and how much they will be generating from that alone.
Itโs not a short term play for sure because who knows what will happen with the market cap. However I think in 10-20 years if you kept buying from today for every month until then, youโd be a very happy camper.
Yeah I can appreciate that, thatโs fairs bro. Iโve built my portfolio on just individual stocks and itโs worked well so far, that said Iโve had a few bad ones that cost me alot at the time. Iโd highly recommend having like 5-10% in an individual name though, because if you get one name right, it could replace your whole portfolio given enough time. Something worth considering
