Newcastle had to sell him to comply with FFP while he is currently signing for a football club who have been charged with 115 breaches of premier leagues financial rules. An independent panel was convened to hear these charges which was concluded in 2024. For reasons unknown to everyone we still don’t have a verdict on this. There is something deeply wrong about that

Pep Guardiola is a great but he is yet to win a European Cup with a team as a manager who aren’t being investigated for cheated. Forget about Fergie, Matt Busby dragged himself off his deathbed and won a European Cup 10 years after 8 of his players were killed, it took Abu Dhabi 15 years to win a European Cup due to highly probable financial doping.
City end FA Youth Cup Final tickets were on sale to STH from 10am this morning, they're now on sale to all existing Cityzens Matchday and Junior Members (as of Tuesday, 5th May)
Each supporter can purchase 2 tickets.
Maybe they should have given us 3 of the stands and taken just 1 for themselves.
Can’t understand why City not agreed to FA Youth Cup final being moved to Old Trafford with club ruling out Etihad in race to ready North Stand
Ask those #MCFC U18 players if they’d prefer to play in front of 70,000 or 7,000
What an opportunity missed

#MUFC have received 968 tickets for the FA Youth Cup Final, priced at £5 for adults, £3 for Over 65s and Under 21s, and 8 wheelchair positions at £3.
The aim is to go on sale to Executive Club Members and men's team Season Ticket holders on Thursday, 7 May TBC
Statement from MUST and fan reps on @ManUtd Fans Forum re Youth Cup final venue. Call decision 'a disgrace'. "The news that the FA Youth Cup Final, a great fixture which has heralded so many superstars of the future, is to be played in a stadium of just 6,000 people is a disgrace. Last time United were in the final we had 67,000 fans in Old Trafford so allowing this massive game to be played in front of such a paltry few fans is letting down supporters and denying these young footballers the biggest night of their careers so far. The FA needs to step in and ensure the game can be played at either the Etihad or Old Trafford. Time to put fans first for once."
#MUFC offered to host FA Youth Cup final at Old Trafford, with #MCFC unable to schedule at Etihad. City declined, insisting on 7,000-capacity Joie Stadium. Major disappointment at missed opportunity for similar scenes to 2022 final when 67,000 attended ⬇️

Manchester United's players have been warned they'll be banned for up to 18 games if they breath air during the remaining fixtures. It's a new rule introduced this week. It will apply to United, but not opponents.
This was Haaland who shouted and confronted the referee on the pitch and even later posted “Wtf” on social media.
The FA looked into it, but he escaped no ban, no suspension because he’s not Maguire
Guess what punishment they later gave to them? 😭
Feb 1, 2026: Man City star Rodri accuses the referee of not being neutral.
"I know we won too much and the people don't want us to win, but the referee has to be neutral. It's not fair because we work so hard. When everything is finished, you are frustrated."
He was fined £80k and FA panel “unanimously” agreed he hadn’t met threshold for a “sporting sanction”
March 20, 2026: Harry Maguire gives away a penalty and is sent off. Later claimed he called officials a “fucking joke” as he went off.
Maguire and United disputed fourth official’s claim. FA sided with officials and hand an extra one-game suspension to #mufc defender
Right…
Stuart Atwell was absolutely petrified of the media response if he gave Utd a 2nd penalty and VAR wanted to support their colleague on the field rather than give the right decision. The arrogance of officials is something that needs addressing, I understand it’s a hard job but they’re deciding games every week more than the two teams on the field.
