@Plymouthgas@Adrianepdavey Famous one, it’s only 80 quid for a Gas check , which happens once year but they moan about 180 pounds for an electrical safety report which could last 5 years depending on circumstances lol
@M_E_SOLUTIONS@nixonelectrical@officialNICEIC Oh it works a treat that one. Much more forgiving to make my electrics stay on- regardless of the safety, as long as it works it’s fine ;)
@pahsparks@nixonelectrical@officialNICEIC Doesn’t matter what governing body you’re with, if you have passion and pride in your work you will do the job properly. On general; people are ‘nice people’ get the job and Rob the customers blind for an install unworthy but it works at time of Payment.
@Sparky_Ninja Just fixing the corresponding phase colours could cause you more problems Than it is worth. Sometimes simple fixes turn into nightmares. As sparks we want an easy life ;)
@sparkypete_@Lewden_Elec@Aico_Limited Don’t mean to be disrespectful but do ever post pictures of real short cables within a fuse board and how you make that look decent?
@ColDixonElec What end caps do you use also? The ones we have only have side bits to it and they always fall out. Yours seem to have a lip that goes inside to hold it tight
@terry_munro_ @SamHurst88 @nixonelectrical@hageruk Yeah I always knew that normally want it ideally below 100, seen a few old certs not on a TT system with 1669 on it, made me question whether it should be this or not.
