And then absolutely screwing us over again in the new year when you raise the carbon tax... again. Which is baked in to literally every cost in the economy, causing more inflation and making our dollar worth less and less.

Gaslighting doesn't work anymore. People are waking up when given access to the free flow of information (which is why you're so enthusiastic about censoring and criminalizing any opposing speech, which is a whole other topic - absolutely terrifying to anyone who knows what happens every time that's been done before in history). I'd suggest you adapt and at least attempt to start telling the truth if you want any hope of being the official opposition next election (you're currently polling in 4th place BTW).

So here's the simplest explanation I can give for those who still don't get it. Take Amazon. They sell everything. If all the sudden with the strike of a pen it now costs them ~20% more to ship anything in Canada, do you think they are just going to eat that cost? Of course not. But isn't it still free shipping? Why, yes it is. Hmmm, I wonder where they could be getting that money back? Could it be priced in to every single item they sell? How dare they. Must be time to scream "Evil Corporations!" from the top of the hill again. And maybe while you're at it tell us how much we all matter to you and how much you care. You're so kind, so loving, so empathetic.

It's not working anymore. It's over.
