@robanthonyeadon I’m mixed on this finale. I like the idea of Laurie and the town getting closure, but I don’t feel like it suited the movie we’d just watched. Ends (and the overall trilogy) foreshadowed Laurie becoming more and more like Michael, the alternate ending sounded more fitting.

@WolfmansGotNard I think a lot of people liked the concept of him getting stronger by killing, despite the fact that DGG seemingly never had this idea in mind. Like you say, Laurie was speaking more metaphorically about his legend growing larger - which is exactly what we see in Ends.
