I got to make it to NY just in time to catch @birbigs last show in @AlloutBroadway. I finally lucked out in the lottery and scored some great seats in the front row!
Really great seeing George Clooney and @clarkgregg in @goodnightbwy. Clooney makes a strong Broadway debut in a poignant period piece whose themes are still relevant today. Tonight’s performance on @CNN and @StreamOnMax will mark the first live telecast of a Broadway play.
Last night’s performance of @AllInBroadway was the funniest Broadway show I’ve seen in some time. This cast is hilarious! Thanks to @mulaney, Fred Armisen, @ReneeGoldsberry, and @RealRichardKind
I ran the overnight shift at WDUQ in college. Tony could not have been more kind. He made a young kid feel like a relevant part of the team. I would always show up early to chat with Tony for a few minutes and help him put all his cds back in the library. Goodnight, old friend.
There’s always high demand for pics and vids of Rupert the sausage dog! So I thought we’d have a little fun whilst I got some reps in on the mic 😂🐶⚽️🎙 #ufc#football#commentary#dogs#sports#lockdown2020
Just checked out the J.D. Salinger exhibit at the New York Public Library. They make you check your phones before entering, which is very on-brand Salinger. So I guess just imagine a photo of his typewriter at the bottom of this tweet.
Met up with a couple of Marvel’s Finest, Charlie Cox and @twhiddleston, after @betrayalbwy. Great performances and very unique staging with an interesting use of character proximity and shadows to build tension.
Shamelessly retweeting the receipt from my ride on @stylebender’s hype train. In just over a year and a half, Israel’s rise from UFC debutant to middleweight champ has been nothing short of meteoric. “I was in the nosebleeds, and now I made his nose bleed”
@Die_Wil_Wheaton @TheNYFF He didn’t specifically say, but you might be right about using both to form a composite. They showed a photo of the 3-camera rig used for the deaging and that thing was a monster. He also spoke about how they put invisible markings on the actors and used infrared to map the faces
After checking out last night’s red carpet and world premiere of Martin Scorsese’s #TheIrishman, day 2 @TheNYFF started with an interesting talk from cinematographers Rodrigo Prieto (The Irishman), Ashley Connor (Madeline’s Madeline), and Chris Teague (Russian Doll).
@Die_Wil_Wheaton @TheNYFF Yeah, he mentioned how it was a little tough to blend some of the digital shots with the ones shot on film. He also emphasized that the ending portion was all film.
