@DylanRSkidmore@1bamf1776 I have gotten so comfortable doing it. Even on road trips I eat in my truck at the gas station where I empty and fill all fluids.
Making good time is important to me.
In the United States, there are roughly 22.9 million people with valid concealed-carry permits.
There are about 267 million adults in the U.S., meaning permit holders alone account for roughly 1 in every 11 adults.
More than half of U.S. states now have constitutional carry laws that allow eligible adults to carry without obtaining a permit, so permit numbers likely under-count the number of people who can legally carry.
As a rough estimate, it wouldn't be surprising if as many as 1 in 8 adults are legally armed at any given time, though there isn't comprehensive data to confirm that figure.
If firearms make you uncomfortable, consider this: in a crowded public space, there's a good chance that at least one person within 50 feet of you is legally carrying a firearm even in places with "No Guns" signs.
And yet, you probably never notice, and nothing happens.
That's because the overwhelming majority of legally carried firearms remain holstered, unseen, and uneventful throughout ordinary daily life.
Let's face the facts: either Sikhs should not be allowed to carry kirpans — the very blades that killed Henry Nowak — or the public should be able to carry knives, since the current law is clearly not working.
Justice must be applied equally to all.

@bmitori I have played around with lots of ways to carry trying to find what works for me.
Red dot getting snagged on clothing was never an issue I ran into
@TomcatJunkie Yeah, absolute lunacy of believing we would be able to shake a stick at the US air superiority of the US armed forces.
They can maintain that air dominance halfway around the world using carriers....
They can use normal runways and airports. It would be easy mode.
@bmitori@Johnneh_80 It's because they way the shoot they see no path to victory that doesn't involve them getting shot.
Based on their own targets, the assume everyone is hit outside the center of mass on a target.
