The Jazz didn’t hold on to Lauri and handcuff him in the prime of his career to then ship him off when they put together the most talented roster for 20 years. He’s staying put and is going to be a key piece for the Jazz to win a Championship.

If I were the Utah Jazz, I’d be on the phones making some calls about either moving up to 1 for AJ Dybantsa OR seeing if there’s a bounty deal out there for someone like Lauri Markkanen to acquire more assets and even look at a forward like Cameron Boozer or Caleb Wilson IF the front office sees one of them as a better prospect than Darryn Peterson. I still think it’s most likely to stand pat and take DP, but Jazz should be open to creativity before the draft to get the player that fits best on this roster.
