@EmaLaineAuthor I chose depends because they can be overdone. A lot of what's included can be alluded to in the book itself, unless what's happening just really needs to be explained to be understood, as in Harry Potter ATSS.

@dimitri11192 That makes up at least half of my writing problems. I typically start with character-building scenes that I need anyway and work from there. The plot always finds a way to work itself in. And then it's wrong and I have to rewrite everything.

@AngelaCherish53 With outlining, start with the beginning and end in mind, and the fill it in from there. This has helped me a lot with catching plot holes before they happen. Use as many or as few details as you want, just keep in mind that FutureYou will either hate you or thank you later.
