A photographer took a picture just as this couple threw ashes into a river.
He asked who it was. As they answered their dog. The photographer asked for permission to edit their photo, and this was the result.

Attitude is a choice.
Gratitude is a discipline.
Bitterness is expensive.
Nobody accidentally has a great attitude.
Nobody stumbles into gratitude.
And nobody means to end up bitter, it just quietly moves in when you stop choosing something better.
Guard your peace like it cost you something.
Because it did.
I haven't seen the Rick Beato video, but the topic is dead-on.
Playing music is now a rich man's playing field, a game for people who are generally well off in life.
I've spent thousands of hours and dollars trying to get bands to work, even had moderate success, it felt like we were on the verge of something close each time before some outside force would tear it away from us.
It's also a younger person's world. It's so much harder to form a band or do anything professionally with guitar/music/recording as you age.
This is slightly depressing, but very true. You see these new shredders and YouTube/Instagram/TikTok players, and you can immediately tell that they're already doing financially well.
Equipment is not cheap, learning to record and getting the equipment for that is not cheap.
Something I've loved and held on to just feels so unreachable even on the most modest of levels.
After covid, I havent been able to keep up with gear and equipment. Everything I have is dated, and it's overwhelming just thinking about trying to upgrade and update.
Instead of obtaining the latest and greatest of new gear, I've just committed to playing. All. The. Time. I dont even know why I do it lol. I just do. Just keep learning, keep playing, keep on keeping on.
I don't know where I'm going with this now. Playing metal guitar/music used to feel like the working man's passion, now it seems like it's the rich kid's little side hobby.

🎸 Guess this legendary guitar solo…
That emotional intro, those soaring bends, the pure heart and soul pouring through the strings…
(Hint: It’s one of the most iconic solos in rock history, played on a jaw-dropping custom purple crystal guitar.)
This cover by Kfir Ochaion is absolutely stunning. The tone, the feel, the passion — pure magic.
