@Resideo I have the DS06 PRV on my home. Inspector says that because of the PRV, water softener specs require an expansion tank for closed systems. My builder’s plumber claims the PRV has a bypass to allow for thermal expansion. Can you provide clarity if a tank is needed?

@Resideo Paul, that is unfortunate. Dealing with this matter through the plumber / builder leaves this issue with a party that is not objective. Would my inspector be considered a contractor from your lens?
