@cheddargoblin14@ZH1YGD@justinmk honestly I don't get this. I and I know many others touch the config maybe once every few months. and personally, its about control over the workflow which is usually much more basic than vscode unless by "make vim into vscode" you only mean add lsps, which isn't that difficult
@HighLlama@qquinnsworth and make use of the fact that when you consider that just about everything new borrowed from something else or was maybe done similarly elsewhere the entire thing becomes pointlessly arbitrary as people trace back every influence while ignoring novelty
@wangzhr4 if it's new hardware it helps to use distros which come with a newer kernel version, so usually not ideally Ubuntu LTS though Ubuntu does try to add newer hardware support to older kernel versions
@filtedxenon @JamesSurowiecki You are too stupid to be this confident. Anyone with any critical thinking skills beyond that expected of a child would clearly see that he is implying his incarceration policies led to this, not him becoming mayor, and further that this graph isn't good support for this point.
@_fat_ugly_rat_ if you had more than 2 and they didn't intentionally choose trees that don't grow all that much and then let them grow, then sure, that would be meaningful
