Between 2022 and 2024, this govt increased Charter School funding by 844%.
FACT.
This govt has budgeted to actually build Charter Schools with your Public Ed tax dollars.
FACT.
I think it's important for everyone in AB to remember that the UCP didn't have to use the NWC in their legislation. They also could have (and I'd argue should have) used binding arbitration rather than imposing a contract.
Everyone should be asking themselves why
Davey would like you to know that…
A) The delays in the election are his fault
B) He still doesn’t know the difference between electronic voting machines and tabulators that count paper votes.

@alagacedowson@MarkJCarney@cupw Maybe in rural areas….maybe. Why not do what they are actually tasked to do?
Maybe they should pitch video rentals door to door?
@PattyHajdu Minister Hadju: Canada desperately needs a postal service! We are becoming a worldwide embarrassment. No matter what CPC offers the CUPW, they refuse it. No other workers in Canada get what Postal Workers do! This strike is destroying small businesses. Please! Help!
@contrarywisdom I am married to a letter carrier and your views echo many of my thoughts. I was surprised that the employee base voted to reject the last contract. I believe CUPW needs to recognize the reforms needed. My husband loves his job and would like to work at viable organization.
@Phillierescue@cupw@CanadianLabour At this point I think anything that results in a contract and no strike is positive. There might be a vote yet. Depends on what Minister Hadju does next week.
I have received a request from Canada Post for an ordered vote to be to put to CUPW members. My office is reviewing this order and will have more to say soon.
In the meantime, federal mediators will remain available to continue the work at the negotiating table.
@PattyHajdu@FETCO_CANADA Ms. Hajdu, I understand you're meeting with the CUPW, tomorrow. Please impress upon them, that Canada Post last offer was VERY FAIR, including a signing bonus and that Canada desperately needs a postal service that is intact & reliable. Enough is enough
@cupw@CanadianLabour I implore you to please let the members vote on this deal or just accept it! It will be worse off with binding arbitration, which looks more and more likely now!
