Update: I'm happy to say we've solved the employment situation and the future looks a lot better. We could still use some support to help extend their motel stay since we don't have that new income yet, so anything helps once again, but the help we already got went a long way.

we've already received some support and i really really really appreciate it. having more of a buffer will make a big difference while we look into housing services, mutual aid, homeless shelters for the worst case scenario, etc
