Ali Zarei took to the streets alongside his countrymen in 2022 after the death of Mahsa Amini.

Regime forces shot him in the eye, leaving him blinded. He left the country, but later returned. Upon his return, he was sentenced to death.

Yesterday, he was transferred to solitary confinement. His death sentence may be carried out at any moment.

با کمال تأسف آگاه شدیم که دانیال کریمی، پدر داغ‌دیده و دادخواه جاویدنام امیرمحمد کریمی، نوجوان ۱۸ ساله‌ای که ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در مرودشت استان فارس به دست تبهکاران جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد، این داغ سهمگین را تاب نیاورد و به زندگی خود پایان داد.
