Worth noting it wasn’t an all white jury, either, Asians and Hispanics were there too. But I do have to ask, is the implication here that regardless of evidence, if more black people were on the jury that they wouldn’t have convicted him? Because that’s also not a good argument here and also raises some serious problems. The guy was super duper guilty. If you followed the trial it became very apparent.

Also, “it requires moral honesty about who is deemed dangerous”, I dunno, call me crazy, but maybe it’s the individual who violently murdered somebody?

Like I’ll readily acknowledge, there’s many cases out there were someone is horribly abused due to their race (or whatever else) and then they snap, creating a complexity for the role of the victim and just how long the murderer should be punished, but this case was not that. This is not a morally complex case. The dude sucked and got exactly what he deserved. His race or the race of the jurors do not play a role in this case and anyone pretending otherwise is disingenuous beyond belief.
