@Shoreham_boys89 Middlesbrough lost to a team that spied on them! Millwall lost fair and square. Why should Millwall benefit? It has nothing to do with them!
@kev__1987@SportGids1 Crossed wires! We have seen Hamer last 90 minutes though! Plus he runs about a hell of a lot more than Jairo, so has some sort of excuse!
@kev__1987@SportGids1 I reckon we go after someone to play on the left, regardless of whether Hamer stays or goes. Playing him there leaves the left back with no cover. If he stays, which is unlikely, he should be in the 10 role, where he can roam without leaving defensive gaps.
@Garethr37594263@dannyhall04 I’m not convinced either. But if he came on the same “risk free” terms as last season and stayed fit, we’d have a hell of a player at this level. I’m guessing that a lot will depend on whether Sydie stays or goes. If he stays, we’re ok in cm/dm.
@kev__1987@SportGids1 The subs should be optional or injury based. We went into every game he started knowing that we effectively only had four of those. Knowing that, however the game was going, we were going to have to change things on 60/65 minutes.
@MaxParkin3@TheStarBlades It would probably cost us about £1.5m to pay up his contract. Would you rather us do that in one lump sum or over the remaining year of his contract? Paying him off makes absolutely zero sense. He may go out on loan and have someone else pay part or all of that.
@TheStarBlades It’s a very logical decision based on what we’ve seen this season, and the players we have in his position. He’s been a professional for 13 years, but only has just over 200 appearances to his name. Even after 6 months at the club he couldn’t last more than 65 minutes!⚔️
@MaxParkin3@TheStarBlades Because he’s under contract! Every year someone asks this question. You can’t just release players and under contract, without paying them off. We’re obviously not in a position to be doing that!⚔️
