UCSATP Implementation Retreat 2026:
The Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project @UCSATP is hosting a 3-day Implementation Retreat from 2nd – 4th January 2026 at Nile Resort Hotel, Kampala.
The retreat provides a platform to review implementation progress for the first two quarters, assess performance across all project components, and strengthen coordination among implementing agencies, districts, and development partners.
Key focus areas include:
• Review of progress against the Project Development Objective and Results Framework
• Assessment of achievements, challenges, risks, and bottlenecks
• Review of fiduciary, procurement, and environmental and social safeguards
• Coordination across climate-smart crop, livestock, fisheries, and infrastructure value chains
• Agreement on priority actions and timelines to accelerate project delivery
Over the three days, participants will engage in deep technical discussions across value chains (crops, livestock, fisheries, beneficial insects), infrastructure, procurement, finance, safeguards, M&E, and coordination, all aimed at accelerating delivery of climate-smart agricultural outcomes.
Together, we are strengthening collaboration to drive resilient, inclusive, and sustainable agriculture for Uganda 🇺🇬
