@virginmedia randomly one of my boxes stops playing sound every now and again. This is like the 8th time and trying to watch the game of the season with friends and 0 sound is a joke.

Tried calling and live chat with no solution. I want the box replaced.

@virginmedia I also managed to get through to retentions who said they’d put me through to tech support, 3 mins later the phone disconnects. Hate ranting in public but can’t seem to get a resolution any other way.

@virginmedia I did that last night while trying to watch the game with no sound on. I get kicked off the call because I follow all the steps and then it sends me to the web app. I tried using live chat too and couldn’t get through to anyone.

@virginmedia Yes I’ve done all of that numerous times, other devices like consoles work fine with the cable. The issue is definitely box related.

@virginmedia All channels, every couple of months the sound just stops for a day or two but by the time an engineer is booked it comes back. I’m on what was the top package at the time & I keep having my sound drop & usually when hosting. Restarted box, checked cables. Other box is perfect.
