I really hate doing this but I had to call a few guys inside the Browns locker room to see if these stats were meaningful measurements of the QB competition. They told me all the same thing. These stats are so meaningless and lack context behind the assignments, sacks, and what’s being said in meetings.
I applaud ESPN Cleveland for running with this gimmick because a certain fanbase is running with it. The real evaluation will be the pre season games.
