@sabeer A 2025 Swedish study of 28,198 people found Moderate trust ("Agree" that most people can be trusted): Lowest all-cause mortality.
Very high trust ("Completely agree"): Higher mortality than moderate trust.
Low/very low trust: No significant difference from very high trust.
@sabeer I was excited when fellow IITian Kejriwal jumped into politics to fight corruption and supported him through my family in India. He wasted his political capital on useless stuff instead of focusing on his agenda. Only one divine force that keeps India functioning-Ram Bharose!
@sabeer We were in Japan recently. Japanese are good people & they keep their country immaculate! Never seen a country so clean & orderly. They have displayed greatness also under royalty, military and democracy. I wish I could say that about the country of my birth.
@TcPwN@AnaKasparian Like what happens in most third world countries! More importantly, corruption at the highest levels of our government, definitely like in third world countries! Are we one too?
@sabeer Even โLittle Indiaโsโ in USA are littered with trash like Devon Avenue in Chicago. Except in Singapore where fine deters them but they still indulge in corruption (Subramaniam Iswaran).
@sabeer Itโs much worse than you describe. There is no future prospect of this country thriving either. I believe, vast majority of Indians suffer from many mental issues because of the problems you describe and no prospects of ever changing the situation they face.
@sabeer If I ran for elections in India, my election symbol would be โdandaโ! Thatโs the only thing that would work in India (application of danda like lashes in Muslim countries) to improve the situation in India. Itโs hopeless otherwise as evidenced by last 80 years.
@sabeer There is an old Chinese saying โItโs better to keep quiet & look stupid than to open your mouth & leave no doubtโ! Modi wants some mystery kept in reserve about how an individual without the benefit of formal education behaves on world stage (poorly๐).
@AdityaRajKaul@narendramodi I visited India in February and India is not rising or succeeding at anything except rising corruption, despair, pollution & hopelessness. Nothing would please me more than to see you right!
