At approximately 10:43 p.m., South Adams County Fire Department crews responded to a reported attached garage fire in the River Run neighborhood.
Upon arrival, Engine 27 crews found a smoldering electric motorcycle inside the garage. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and ensured the area was safe, preventing further spread.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.

SACFD responded to a structure fire at 104th and Florence at approximately 4:00 a.m. this morning. Crews quickly deployed hose lines and brought the fire under control. No injuries were reported.

3/21 at 2:14pm: South Adams County Fire is actively working a large grass fire located near the intersection of 48th Avenue and Monaco. Denver Fire Department units are providing assisting support to contain and extinguish the blaze.
At approximately 4:00 this morning, crews were dispatched to a structure fire near 64th Ave. and Magnolia St. They arrived on scene to a working attic fire with one occupant in the house attempting to remove his pets. He was moved to safety, and crews quickly gained access to extinguish the fire. There were no injuries, and the cause is under investigation.

Just after 9:30 AM, crews responded to a train railcar fire near 88th & Hwy 2. Fire was at the undercarriage and at the tail end of one of the rail cars. The fire was extinguished, no other rail cars were affected, and the cause is under investigation.
This morning, SACFD crews responded to a grass fire at 10:22AM near 48th and Forest Street. Upon arrival, they saw heavy black smoke and flames in an open field area and a homeless encampment. No injuries occurred, and the cause is under investigation. Denver Fire Department, Platte Valley Ambulance, and CCPD assisted at the scene.
At approximately 8:45 pm, SACFD responded to a reported structure fire located at the intersection of 70th and Holly Street. Engine 23 arrived on scene and found a fully involved recreational vehicle camper that posed a significant threat to adjacent campers and vehicles. Crews rapidly extinguished the fire, successfully preventing further damage to nearby structures and a fence. There were no reported injuries. At 9:25am, SACFD responded to a single-vehicle rollover in the South Platte River at 96th and Monaco. One occupant self-extricated and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. SACFD responded to a structure fire at the intersection of 60th and Brighton Blvd. at a waste transfer facility just after 2:30pm. The fire was contained by the sprinkler system, enabling crews to fully extinguish upon arrival. One individual was evaluated on-site, and no further injuries were reported. Thanks to our assisting agencies Adams County Fire Rescue, City of Thornton Fire Department, and Platte Valley Ambulance Service.

Last night at approximately 10:03pm, SACFD responded to a reported structure fire at 60th and Grape Street. Upon arrival, crews found a car on fire behind the residence. The fire was quickly controlled. One person was transported to the hospital for evaluation. SACFD responded to a structure fire at approximately 11:17 p.m. near 112th Avenue and Joliet Street. Upon arrival, crews encountered a working garage fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

This afternoon, SACFD responded to a technical rescue incident at 64th Ave and Brighton Blvd, where two individuals were trapped in a freight elevator. Crews executed rescue operations, rappelling approximately 40 feet to access the freight elevator and rescue the two parties. No injuries were reported. Denver Fire Department and Platte Valley Ambulance Service assisted with the call.
SACFD responded to a structure fire at 80th and Krameria Street at approx 7:18am. Upon arrival, the crew saw flames and smoke coming from the roof area and was able to extinguish. Two residents were transported and several dogs were removed from the home, and some pets were deceased.

This afternoon, at approximately 12:46 pm, SACFD Engine 23 responded to a carbon monoxide alarm with reported illnesses near 69th and Olive Street. Crews detected high levels of carbon monoxide within the residence. The homeowners were evacuated, and nine patients were transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. The incident is currently under investigation.
