@ErikAdamsS@AiEvolutio58513 why are you so certain that an AI cant dream? Dreams are technically a form of internal hallucination and AI's already halucinate all the time.. maybe dreaming is something that happens within any neural network regardless if its a human brain or a computer
@PeterDiamandis Games will always be around because humans have fun playing them. Anything that feels like work and can be done better by robots will disappear among humans.
@elonmusk@grok
Voice mode is great, but when I ask Grok to mute itself, it just says ‘ok’ and keeps listening. There’s no self-mute command - only the UI button.
Proposal: three voice commands. ‘Grok mute’ stops the mic. ‘Grok quiet’ stops the speaker. ‘Grok resume’ turns them both back on. That would let me switch between conversations in real life without pulling out my phone.”
@elonmusk Why is this a problem if humans will no longer be needed for economic reasons? The population won’t go to zero. It’ll eventually stabilize and even if it ends up being 1/10th of what it is now, why is that a problem if AI agents and robots will fill the gaps?
@kanevato If we are the ones initiating the simulations then we can set our own parameters. I believe in a future where tech can help reverse the damage we’ve done to the planet (and ourselves) and find the most optimal alignment between us.
Simulating the future is the most powerful tool in human history. AI + Quantum will allow us to simulate this reality billions of times and help us decide what decisions to make moving forwards. We just need to make sure that we are simulating for the best outcome for humanity, the Earth, and tech to all coexist.
@APompliano So because you see an increase in the short term employment rate you think it will continue in that direction? AI isn’t at the point where any company can just replace a human employee for a AI just yet, we still need humans, but it’s undoubtedly coming for more and more jobs imo
