Former Governor Abdulaziz Yari turned a billionaire overnight for alleged illegal gold mining and we stupidly praise him for being among the richest Nigerians, when he should be facing prosecution for it and also looting public funds.

If the FG cannot prosecute Yari for gold mining, they also have no right to stop oil bunkering in Niger Delta.

Gold mining is same as bunkering in the Niger Delta region. It’s time Niger Delta takes their destinies in their hands by fully owning its oil just as Yari has been allowed to own gold mining
