It's where you identify talent,matchwinning ability, and temperament. That's exactly why players like KL, SaiSu and Gill are overlooked.

Also apart from the '26 version of Kishan which wk has truly been consistent? Rahul? Pant? They have'nt even won anything for India or their franchises in T20, yet they got enough backing.

Now they're noticing similar treatmnt with Patidar, Ruturaj etc, but those cases don't yet have the same proof of evidence at higher level as him

Unless every batter in the XI is of Vaibhav's caliber, there's no justification for even benching Sanju. He's comfortably better than players currently getting a longer rope.
